What a beautiful obituary of a vibrant and love-filled life! I am the second recipient of the Steve Kahl Award at Tuck, so Steve's name holds a big place in my story. I felt his legacy while at Tuck even through I didn't know him directly, and I've pursued entrepreneurship after school as a result of both his award and the groundwork he built for entrepreneurs to succeed. Thinking of your family.

Jim and Judy, Tony and I grieve for you and your family as you mourn the loss of your son. Steve's obituary portrayed an amazing man--a loving husband and father, a successful business man, a dedicated and innovative educator, and an enthusiastic enjoyer of life. Our thoughts will be with you as you celebrate his life.

Paul and I are very sorry that we could not attend Steve's Celebration of Life. Indeed, there is so much to celebrate about the life of this remarkable man. I recall how excited I (and our whole department) were to learn that Steve would be joining our group. Our excitement was more than justified, since Steve turned out to be an even better teacher, scholar, colleague, friend, and contributor to the strategy group and the Tuck community than we could have imagined. He was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know him. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
