Robert Frank Perkins, 80, of Norwich, Vermont, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from complications following a stroke, surrounded by his family.

Bob was Born on July 10, 1941 and attended school until 9th grade when he left to pursue other opportunities, including carpentry and small engine repair. These skills prepared Bob for success as he went on to open his own shop “Bob’s Services.” He independently ran his business for over 40 years before retiring. During that time he was also a local Elks member and volunteer firefighter. Bob loved playing darts and was a “master” horse shoe player.

Bob married his wife, Marlene, on August 5, 1967. He was so caring and kind-hearted which was evident by Bob and Marlene’s decision to foster many children throughout the years. He was loved by all who met him whether for his kindness, pranks, or both. His warm, welcoming laugh was contagious.

Bob is survived by his two daughters: Nora (Robert) Carnevale and Stephanie Perkins; five siblings: Joyce (Nelson) Gilman, Lucille Wilcox, Majorie Lowery, Maurice Perkins, and Elaine Perkins; six grandchildren: Mark (Rebecca) Keller, Kristen (Mike) Rinaldi, Brittany Keller, Matthew Dow, Jerrry (Savannah) White, and Ryan Perkins; also blessed with 8 great grandchildren Adalia, Alex, Rowan, Kaelin, Aurora, Ava, Robert, and Cooper who is due in June, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that were all so dear to him.

Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marlene (Severence) Perkins and his parents: Ralph and Delia Perkins.

Services will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Wedensday, May 11 at the Rand-Wilson Funeral home in Hanover, NH. A private burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, consider donating to the American Heart Association or your local Animal Shelter.
