Robert L. Chambers 76, of Hanover, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly on April 24th surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness.

Robert served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war, attended Auburn University, and developed many successful businesses throughout his life and across North America. His entrepreneurial spirit brought him from Georgia to Montreal to Hanover, then New York and finally resettling in New Hampshire. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors on a bike, snowshoes or skis, hiking with the dog, and spending time with his family.

Robert always had a smiling face to share with everyone, and encouraged people to be the best version of themselves. He believed in the goodness of others, always, and never failed to support others in every way he could. You would often find him barefoot in a button-down and khakis walking the dog or cutting down trees, or cruising through town on an e-bike. He will be missed dearly by his loved ones.

He was a loving partner to his wife, Jeanne; a proud parent to his daughters, Annette and Kimberly; and a kind, adventurous soul to his grandchildren, Stella R Wright and J Pearl Wright. He is also survived by his siblings, Nola Ann, Mary Francis (Thomason), John Leroy, and his many well-loved nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Charles Chambers Jr. and Lilah Kate, as well as his brother, Joseph Charles Chambers III.

Arrangements are being handled by Rand-Wilson Funeral Home (11 1/2 School Street, Hanover, New Hampshire) with an outdoor service at Pine Knoll Cemetery at Noon on Friday, May 7, 2021. His family will be present to welcome loved ones with COVID precautions.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to ‘The Frosty Fund’ at https://www.hanoveradventuretours.com/donations
