Kenny Edward Smith, 52, died at his home in Lebanon, NH on February 19, 2010 following a brief illness. He was born February 8, 1958 in Martinsburg, WV the son of Peter and Evelyn (Smith) Sanville. Kenny worked construction for Trumbull-Nelson in Hanover, NH and also formerly washed dishes at the Lebanon Senior Center. He was a former member of the Army National Guard. Kenny enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hanging out and partying whenever possible. He is survived by his ex-wife Julie Gilchrist of Johnson, VT; his sister Maggie Sanville of Bradford, VT; two brothers, Lee Sanville Sr. of Lebanon, NH and Frank Sanville Sr. of Bradford, VT; also several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Grace Smith and his brother Sunny Sanville. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Valley Cemetery, Lebanon, NH with the Rev. Dale Edwards officiating. A reception will be held at the home of Caleb Sanville, 2505 Hartford Ave. in Wilder, VT immediately following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rand-Wilson Funeral Home of Hanover, NH.
