Dear Evelyn and the Extended Reid Family,
My arms circle around you and grieve with you. Surely Robert will be so very missed. How wonderful that you all have many years of lovely memories. I rememeber meeting Mr. and Mrs. Reid at Luke and Metra's wedding, he was so kind and funny and Mrs. Reid was such a beauty. They made a very handsome couple. His positive influence on Luke has helped shape him into a wonderful husband and a loving Father. Thank you Robert. God Bless you and your beautiful family.

Dear Evelyn
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Bob after our visit to your home in West Lebanon 2 months ago. Bob was a leader and major influence at Dominion Bridge and AMCA where I seemed to follow Bob through my career at D.B. and AMCA to living on the same street as you in West Lebanon.

We will remember Bob always as a good friend and mentor and wish you courage and strength in the future.
LORRAINE AND JOSEPH LOVAGLIO (WEST LEBANON NH & OTTAWA CANADA)

We met Mr. Reid while out for a walk with our new baby, Maya. He instantly invited us to partake of his stunning views of the Connecticut River. We enjoyed many visits, hearing about great-grandchildren, and learning more about the Reid's wonderful lives. In 2009 we enjoyed a lovely 4th of July celebration with him, Evelyn, and many friends and neighbors. As we enjoyed the fireworks, Mr. Reid made sure that everyone had umbrellas in case of rain. 89 years old... and entertaining the neighborhood! As we thanked him that evening, he said, "This is what life is all about. People stay in their own backyards too often." How true!
Thank you, Bob & Evelyn, for inviting us into your backyard. We will miss hellos on our walks around the neighborhood. You both are amazing examples of love, friendship, and truly kind people.
Rob, Melissa, & Maya Holmes (West Lebanon, NH)
