Lee R. Ashmun, M.D., 87, of Hanover died Friday, September 17, 2010, at Hanover Terrace Nursing Home after a long illness. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, where he had a pediatric practice for thirty-five years, he had lived in Hanover since 1986. He and his wife of sixty-five years Jean, were also antique dealers. He is survived by his wife Jean of Hanover; his brother, David Ashmun of Shoreline, Washington; his children, Kathryn Aufman of Wexford, Pennsylvania, Douglas Ashmun of Venice, Florida and Betsy Weber of Hollywood, Florida; eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Woodstock Congregational Church. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Rand-Wilson Funeral Home on School Street in Hanover, NH. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rand-Wilson Funeral Home of Hanover, NH.
